Madang Town

We have a lovely place to live and dive. Madang is on the North Coast of Papua New Guinea.

You can see the island chain that goes Northward from the town. There is a continuous barrier reef connecting the islands. You can drop down anywhere and have a great dive.

Here you see the rugged mountains further in from the coast. This picture was taken with a 200mm telephoto lens from the large open area out between the islands in the picture above - shooting back in oposite direction. The buildings that you see are the ones on the thin strip of land on the far side of the inner harbor.
